2019 NEW YORK CITY BRIDGE CONFERENCE CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2019 New York City Bridge Conference will be held on August 26th-27th at the New York Hilton Midtown, NYC. The conference is seeking papers from bridge engineers; including operators, designers, researchers, and contractors. The conference proceedings will be published in a hardcover volume. Select papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Bridge Structures. Guidelines with complete instructions for manuscript preparation will be sent to corresponding authors by February 25, 2019. To get published in the conference proceedings, you must adhere to the Important Dates shown on the side.

2019 BRIDGE ENGINEERING AWARD
In recognition of achievements in bridge design and bridge engineering research, the Bridge Engineering Association will grant Bridge Engineering Award to an individual that has made significant contributions to the field of bridge engineering. The award will be presented at the New York City Bridge Conference. The award has a monetary value of $5,000. Nominations will be accepted for live individuals only. To nominate an individual for her/his professional bridge engineering accomplishments, please submit a letter of nomination and the nominee’s resume to the Bridge Engineering Association via email to kmahmoud@bridgeengineer.org, by February 25, 2019.
